At DSO Kenya, we believe that access to life-saving specialist care is a right — not a privilege. As a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) in Kenya, we exist to remove the financial and logistical barriers that prevent Kenyan patients from accessing world-class medical expertise.
Through our Life-Saving Programme, we connect patients with top-tier specialists in India through secure, high-definition video consultations — and, where necessary, we support the full journey of travel, treatment, and recovery. Every service we provide is completely free to patients, made possible through the generous support of sponsors, donors, and grants.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower every Kenyan patient — especially those managing pre-existing or complex conditions — to access expert specialist care without bearing any financial burden. By combining compassionate community-based support with digital health technology, we provide a direct link to world-renowned expertise, right from within Kenya.

Completely Free for Patients: All DSO Kenya services are provided at zero cost to patients. We are funded entirely through sponsors, donors, and grants so that every Kenyan who needs us can access us.

AeroMedicare Partnership: We work exclusively with hospitals partnered with AeroMedicare (a division of AeroTech India), ensuring every doctor your loved one speaks with is vetted and recommended by India’s leading medical institutions.
Full Journey Support: If the consultation leads to a recommendation for treatment in India, our partners at AeroMedicare manage all travel logistics — from air ambulances and travel arrangements to VIP reception and accommodation in India. Our team continues to support patients once they return home to Kenya.
Legal Compliance: We take patient privacy seriously. All health records are handled in strict accordance with the Data Protection Act of Kenya and Indian Health Record laws.
Our Unique Approach
DSO Kenya is not a hospital or a diagnostic clinic. We are a community-based coordination and advocacy platform. We simplify and fund the healthcare journey by:
- Facilitating Connection: Arranging and funding seamless video calls between patients and their specialist in India.
- Supporting Your Circle: Allowing patients to include family members, friends, or local medical staff in the consultation so no one faces the journey alone.
- Digital Continuity: Expert recommendations and prescriptions are delivered automatically to the patient’s WhatsApp and Email through our integrated partner application.
- Follow-Up Care: We accompany patients through recovery and follow-up appointments once they return to Kenya.
